An Exhibition of High Quality Paintings by members of Oatley 101 Society of Artists.

As President of the Society I am so very proud of how far we have come for the members and art lovers in the community in the last 4 years.  With the support of Ardency Aroona and PRDNationwide Harvey Oatley in particular we have raised the bar on professionalism and quality.  The wonderful local businesses who have given products and vouchers  each year to support the fundraiser are amazing.  “Gardens on Forest” and the “St George Masonic Club” have gone out of their way to provide so much more to ensure the success of the exhibition and fundraiser.

The generous donation of paintings by Freda Surgenor, Shirley Hagarty and Wayne Harrison  (Wayne’s painting beautifully framed be Visual Art at Arncliffe) are a big draw-card for the fundraiser.

This is an exhibition not to be missed.  All paintings are for sale.  We also have a little coffee/tea shop operating over the weekend with the best brew going.  Many of the artists drop in over the weekend to chat.

Brilliant water-colourist Tanner Tan and well know local artist Diana Garth will be demonstrating their work over the weekend.  I will be there all weekend.  I do enjoy talking about the art and most things in general.

I am very grateful for the committee who have worked such long hours to pull this together.
