Another Acrylic Painting of Kingfishers finds a New Home.

This painting of Forest Kingfishers was sold at Evans Art Exhibition recently. The lustre of the feathers in various lights has fascinated me for as long as I can remember. Growing up in North Queensland provided me with a wealth of opportunities to know these beautiful creatures. It has taken many paintings to get them to the stage where that lustre is showing in the painting.
I will continue to experiment with paints and mediums to get the very best results possible to do justice to these incredible birds.
