Waterbrook/Oatley 101 Open Art Exhibition – Yowie Bay

The  Oatley 101 Socicety of Artists Waterbrook Art Exhibition committee have been very active and are now into the nitty gritty of the exhibition.  I am very proud of my team.  For artists new in this area they are pulling together an amazing exhibition. 

If you are interested in the exhibition either as an artist or an art lover check out the following information.

There will be major monetry prizes in the vicinity of $10 000

When:  St Valentine’s Day Weekend – Friday 14th February 2014 to Sunday 16th February 2014 Opening night and presentation of awards – Friday 14th February

Where:   Waterbrook Lifestyle Resort, 19 Wyralla Rd, Yowie Bay, NSW, Australia.

Conditions:

  • Entry fee: $20 for members/$25 for non-members
  • 2 paintings/artist
  • Theme – “I Love………”
  • Size limit:  max 450cm (14ft 9in) around perimeter of frame.  Small works max 180cms (70in) around perimeter of frame.
  • Works must have been completed within 24 months of the exhibition date.
  • Quality framed, professionally strung and cleanly presented works are essential.  D rings to be covered in tape. Please be aware that anything less will not be accepted!
  • Deep edge canvasses accepted but painting must continue around edges and finished cleanly. No Staples on the sides.
  • Up to date CVs for the viewing public add to the professional tone of the exhibition.

Sections: The exhibition is open.  There are the major prizes as well as a prize for small paintings and one for Oatley 101 members only.

      Great to hear Sharon. You do not know what may happen if you do not throw your hat into the ring.     Hi I have downloaded you application form and thought I should make you aware it states $3 an entry. Is that on top of application fee or is it an old form not been up dated anyway it is confusing me. Kind regards Rosalie
