A Little Painting sold quickly

This was a little painting inspired by a photo taken by my nephew on holiday in India.  I loved the colours and the gathering of the women.   I decided to attempt to describe that vibrancy of colour and energy in the scene using coloured pencil and ink.  I thought it worked and had it framed in a beautiful gold frame.

I entered it into the Oatley 101 Art Societys' May exhibition and it sold soon after opening.  The lady who bought it said it had a lovely energy and beautiful bright colours.  I was so very pleased.
