The following is and extract from an email from Jingmin Ren sent to Oatley 101 Society of Artists:

Recently, my oil painting has won the third international painting festival (Hawaii-2017), the international outstanding female artist award; I accepted the invitation from The House of Representatives (Hawaii), and attended and displayed my “Sydney Morning “oil painting series as a VIP at the international convention art exhibition centre in Hawaii. Representative of the State House MR. Calvin K.Y.Say granted me the winning certificate. I had a speech during the conference. Other hundreds of national famous Chinese artist also attended and shared the Chinese culture and art with people of Hawaii by exhibiting their artworks and giving presentations at forums as well. We had a wonderful experience. News spread world widely.
I am glad that I am an member of 101 Oatley sociality; I still remember the first time I entered the exhibition, I didn’t properly staple down the hanging hole, but MS Geraldine Taylor brought her tools to assist me to put the hole on the back of paintings so I could exhibit my artworks. It was a quiet and touching moment. From then on, I entered the society’ member exhibitions many times.
During the exhibition, China Calligraphy and painting world Federation announced that formed International Oil painter cooperation organization; I am a coordinator of the international oil painter cooperation organization in Australia. I wish I can connect the east and west cultures.
