More Art Sales and Another People’s Choice Award

“Above the Falls” – Forest kingfishers in acrylic.

At the Oatley 101 Society of Artists exhibition in early March, I was thrilled to sell my painting “Above the Falls”. It sold on day one and I was fortunate to meet the new owners who are contemplating the purchase of another of my works. Such lovely people who said they fell in love with it as soon as they saw it.
At the end of the weekend I was thrilled to receive the People’s Choice award for that painting. It was very unexpected as the art on display was absolutely brilliant. Needless to say I was over the moon. I really value that award.

“And Baby Makes Three” – Frogmouths. Acrylic on canvas

Over that same weekend this painting of tawney frogmouths sold at Portland Art Purchase. It was its first outing on display anywhere. The lady who purchased it, contacted me with the purpose of future purchases of my work.
I am so honoured by these experiences as I paint from my heart, for me. It is really what I feel when I paint. For others to see my heart in the artwork, is incredibly humbling
I am feeling rather blessed in this time of lock-down and uncertainty.
