This painting is 3170 mm around. The triple matt and silver effect frame have really finished it off.
These beautiful Forest kingfishers are a joy to behold. The painting is of my own creation, inspired by my love of the Atherton Tablelands. I used airbrush, palette knife and brush to compete the work. Texture is important to me. I do not particularly want every detail, just enough, to start the story. How dreadful would it be to lose these incredible birds to “progress” through environmental damage.
