I love painting these incredible birds. My aim is not to get all the feathers right but suggest them. However I am rather pleased that I have the sheen of the feathers just right now. So many combinations and layers of different blues and greens. Unfortunately the photos do not pick it up.
Their first outing will be the Oyster Bay Art Exhibition on May 25th to 27th.
